I would just like to put out a little disclaimer, my mum is fine with me baking without an adult as I used to bake at school and she can trust me, but if you are young I advice a parent to help you!
Ingredients:
100g sugar (caster, brown or normal)
125g butter/margarine
1 egg
Pinch of salt
225g self raising flour
200g chocolate (any kind!)
Vanilla essence (not compulsory)
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Add the butter and sugar into a large bowl and mix well
- Add the egg and vanilla essence (if used) and mix well
- sieve the flour and add the salt and mix well until a doughy mix
- Cut the chocolate into chunks, but not too small! Add to mix and stir.
- Line a tray with grease proof paper and roll the dough into small balls and place evenly on tray
- Don't put the cookies to close together otherwise they will stick!
- Put the cookies in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
- Make sure to take them out before they start going a very dark brown on the top!
So these are what the cookies look like at the end, and they are so yummy, if I do say so myself aha! I hope you enjoyed this post and enjoy these cookies as much as I do, that's why I had to share them with you, bye guys!
Beth x
