Dying my hair!

Hi everyone! So today I thought I would explain the process of dying my hair a lot blonder then it is, I have been wanting to dye it for about a month now as I previously dyed it and the roots had grown out a lot. I went to bodycare with my mum to find the perfect colour, and I think I have, it is called the Schwarzkopf Color Mask of the shade Pearl Blonde 910.

I will go through the steps of how i dyed my hair below!
  1. I opened the tub of developer cream and added the coloring cream to it and shook it about 50 times so it was well mixed.
  2. I then put a towel round my neck so I didn't get it on my skin, or clothes.
  3. After that, my mum sectioned my hair and applied the dye to my roots with a dying brush, she continued this all over my roots, and then she used her fingers (with gloves on, of course!) to apply the rest of the dye to the length of my hair.
  4. She then clipped my hair on top of my head and i let it rest for 30-40 minutes (it was really itchy on my scalp!)
These were all the products given. (From RIGHT to LEFT)
Color cream, gloves, hair mask, developer cream.

After the steps above, I then rinsed my hair out until the water was clean so i knew it was fully out. In the box, i was given a hair mask with I applied evenly over my head, and let that sink in for 10 minutes, which acted as a conditioner, in the mask it had Vitamin-Oil-Complex. The mask also made my hair a lot healthier from the bleach in the dye.
This is a before and after picture of my hair.
As you can see, my hair has become a lot brighter, and i have no more roots, and it is all the same color. I am very happy with the result, as the main aim was just to get rid of roots but my hair is also a lot lighter and a lot healthier from the hair mask. I recommend this product if you have medium blonde-brown hair and you are looking to go lighter, as this is definitely the hair dye for you! Thanks for reading guys, bye!
